No! Recital is completely optional. Your child will still have a blast in class this semester even if they are not participating.
Recitals are 30 minutes long and will take place between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM. Your child's group will only be scheduled on ONE day December 12.
We will be holding many recitals throughout the day, so we ask please do not arrive earlier than 15 mins before performance. This is when we will have the ability to gather dancers and open seating. Arrivals earlier will only clutter lobby and make check in harder. Please check your dancer when you arrive.
Your child will perform two recital dances with their group.
Your child will receive a costume and 4 tickets to the show.
Additional Tickets will be available for purchase on November 3rd. Four tickets are included with the Winter Recital package Additional tickets are available for just $8 each.
No. We will have dance teachers on the side of the stage for the dancers to follow along with. You can practice with your child with the videos provided.
Performers will not need a ticket.
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please take note of the following costume, hair, and makeup guidelines:
Costumes: Costumes will be tried on in class over clothes to ensure proper fit. Please be sure to check your dancer's cubby or backpack when we notify you that costumes have been delivered. It's important to ensure that costumes fit comfortably and securely at home as well before the recital day.
Hair: For the recital, dancers can wear their hair styled in any way that keeps it out of their face and allows them to move freely. Whether it's a bun, ponytail, braid, or any other style, the key is to ensure that hair is neatly styled to complement their performance.
Makeup: Makeup is entirely optional and left to the discretion of individual families. Soft, neutral tones work best to enhance your dancer's features without overshadowing their natural beauty.
We're excited to see our dancers shine on stage, and we appreciate your attention to these guidelines to ensure a memorable and enjoyable recital experience for everyone involved!
